Inside my Sketchbook: felines oh my!

Any of you remember my clouded leopard, Bane?

I haven't drawn him in a long time so I thought I'd sketch him.

Something realistic; Zest pawing at my head while I am not in the mood for his mischief.--More for the fun of it haha. :)

This one was a really fast sketch I drew while Zest was eating some watermelon one night and I got this great toon-life idea to draw.

Yarn Dolls

I used to make these a long time ago after watching Hell Girl.
They are based on the dolls from the anime. View the original here.

I've decided to start making these again and selling them at cons.
Mine are made out of yarn instead of straw as yarn is softer then straw and makes for better dolls.

Here are two of my dolls.
The red one is about 4 years old, the purple one I finished yesterday. :)

also if you would like a custom color just ask! They are $4 each.

Hand Reference

drawing the basics on my hand helped me out quite a bit with some movement sketches I've been working on.

Here is a picture of some shots of my hand.

First Art Doll

I got some tips from a friend about how to get started with artist dolls.

I made this little critter from clay, fur, and wire.

The clay is oven-bake type.

stuffed with extra brown fur I had!

 

And finished!
