I have fun news!

I finally ordered new business cards with my art on them! Now when you take my business card it will have work on it by me, instead of some random graphic design artist. (Who are great and wonderful don't get me wrong, I just want to show case my own work is all.)

I also bought a new stamper with the correct website listed on it.

 

And along with all of that great stuff I also made my own business logo!

Art History 111 Notes

I found a way to keep my focus pretty well in classes.

Illustrated note taking!

Coloring works, colored sticky notes, drawing comics to tell the main points.

I really like this and I find taking notes this way makes me remember the information better.

Remembering the concept of Contrapposto.

If you are an artistic type like me I suggest taking notes in this way to help with assignments and tests.

I bought this skeleton cat from Walmart for $12 with the intention of making a new character out of her.

Our Weekend in Minneapolis, MN

This weekend Andrew had a class for his job in the cities so I brought him. We stayed at his brother's house for the weekend. 

He had work stuff from 8-5pm and afterwords we went around town for fun.

Digital Paintings

I got a new iPod yesterday thanks to my loving boyfriend. And I downloaded this app called "You Doodle" which has some pretty awesome drawing tools on it.

So with it I made these two little paintings.

Pretty fun. :)

I will for sure be making more of these!

I wanted to show you all how I take my notes in class.

I think notes are a fun way to show your educational artistic side.

These are notes for my art history 111 class as well as notes about the Chicago trip I might go on in October.

My notes tend to be very sloppy, but I can still tell what I need to know for studying. (:
