Sketches from the Chicago Trip

I almost forgot to show you guys what I sketched in Chicago!

Since it was an art trip for college I thought I should bring my sketchbook everywhere we went just I case I got really inspired there, which I did.

First is a plum branch I drew from a painting from Japanese from the 1700s.

And I loved riding the train so here I drew the subway we were waiting in just the way I saw it from the other side of the tracks.

Some of you might recognize this from my Webcomic.

And a dancing figure from a book cover (I don't remember what one.)

I had so much fun on this trip and learned so much! I can't wait to see my art in a gallery like this one day!

Fall Leafs

What if the leafs are alive, and they all run off the trees for the winter leaving behind the strong branches that can handle the cold harsh winter winds.

Like there eyes are little season clocks that can tell it's the end of fall and it's time to run away and hind until the following spring.

Chicago Art Trip Coming up Soon!

This Thursday at 8am Andrew and I will be leaving for Chicago for the UWEC Art Tip!
Super excited about this, but yet really nervous too....

It will be from Thursday to late Sunday night.
 This trip IS for my degree, It is mandatory to get my degree to both go on this trip and a trip to Minneapolis, MN as well.

I will be taking notes and studying hard to get all I can out of this trip!

And on top of this tomorrow (Wednesday the 21st) I will be going to a doctor apt to find out when I can get my new insulin pump!!!! <3

So yes, a lot of exciting, but scary things happening right now.

I will try to post about my trip as we go but no promises, depending on if we will be having internet or not and how much time we have after all the daily activities.

Art Doll Markers! I need help!

I want to start making my own creatures and I need help!

I just bought this a couple days ago and it should be here ether today or Monday.

So I want to know what type of glue or something I should use to get the resin heads to stick to fur fabric? Any advice would be helpful!

Inktober days 5 and 6

I really hate day five's drawing.. I was at club, in the dark.. Yeah not my best, I do not wish to share it..

 

  But my day 6 drawing is about my original unicorn character named Forgotten Love. Those of you that have known me for years may remember her as my childhood imaginary friend. Funny how most adults leave them behind. But mine still influences my artwork and style.
