Color is a little off for Aika but other then that I think it's alright.

I picked Examine as my word of the year.

I want to examine the world around me and learn more about my art, nature, and the way I think in general.

I expect great things for my life in 2017.

Today At the Zoo

I spent the weekend up north with my family and today we went to the zoo!

You can't tell in this picture but she has lovely black leopard spots on her body. Her name is Tia.

The next page I used a Project Life page with some Project Life cards to decorate a bit.

Wood Rubbing

Yesterday I made a wood rubbing of our door that looked pretty awesome to me.

I stuck it in one of my journals. :3 sealed it with fixative.

I took a hand full of purple paint and throw my hand on this plain journal page and wiped my hand down it twice. Then pressing my palm on the bottom of the page.

Then sprinkled drops of water on the page.

It has impacted my work, art, and personal life.
