What I FEEL about Him.

What I think of him..

What I feel when I am with him..

He holds my soul in his heart,
we melt together like chocolate on strawberries.

When I am alone with him I feel like my whole being is satisfied.

He makes me safe,
I am safe.

I can say anything, be anything.
It's like magic.
Magic of love.

He would say that's cheesy, but there would still be a smile on his face.

He's not my everything, but we are one.
Our souls mash together perfectly,
and we know what the other needs and wants without saying a word.

But some noises might be made.

This is what my heart says to you,
and what my brain knows is right.

I love you.

Poem - Growing Up

Growing Up

 

I wish I could tell you everything I know

To tell you about the good, and the bad.

To learn about what it was like to grow up in a home of one,

When you had 3 other siblings you never saw back then.

Not knowing you had a brother until you were 10.

Hoping, wishing, your little sisters would not be treated badly by your unforgiving father.

 

To see what I saw in that family of both love and hate.

Having supportive grandparents at your side,

But to be alone and feel lost at the same time.

A mother you never really knew until you were old enough to drive.

 

Growing up is hard,

But we did it, didn’t we.
