New Art Doll!

I just finished this lovely lady today!

Her head is fully hand sculpted with bake clay.

Painted with acrylic paints for the galaxy look.

Used a monster high Catrine DeMew doll for the body base.

Sculpted the hooves out of resin.

Continued to paint the body.

Sealed the paint with mod podge gloss sealer and added a teal blue tail.

Now just have to come up with a name and make some plot to add her to my Webcomic. :) it's going to be fun!

Halloween Pumpkin +Painted Crow

This year I went about my pumpkin differently. I bought this crow at target last week and painted him all up. Then I painted the little pumpkin that Andrew and I got at the apple orchard a while ago.

Dragon WIP

What I have done so far for my dragon character.

Need a light jaw that won't make his head to heavy.

This is one of the longest projects I've ever done that wasn't for college haha.

"Le Phone"

Le Phone is a group project art piece by Serena R Pruess, Marissa Rogness, and Kevin Berbeten. 

It is a chair with a hanging table made it of used and found objects.

Took us three weeks to complete.

This was truly a group effort. I don't believe ether of us could have finished this without the other persons.

Fairy Gardens

I made two fae gardens for my Cattic comic!

I'm so happy with how they turned out!

Betrayal {Sculpture}

Made in 3D class.

I cut all the wood, chain, and polyglass myself.

Used spray paint purple for the base color and blue on the edges with a sponge brush.

Working on some clay models for a project for 3D class.

[Finished] Wire Flying Machine

Finally done with this flying machine project for 3D class!

Even putting the tissue paper on it was hard.

This took me a total of 11 hours.

Next Wire Project

My next project I will be working on is my wired based flying machine.

Making for my 3D class.

Here is some sketches I've come up with for the look. It's going to be 18in tall.

Not sure about the exact design of the wire yet.

I removed the lags from the project and have the landing gear just a flat service like a hot air balloon.

Drill Study

In my 3D class today we studied a random object. Mine was a drill.

Here are my sketches and wire drill.

The wire we cut for it was about 36in. Long so this is only about 3 in tall.

Pretty fun to make though!

Natural Cube

For my 3D fundamentals class we had to make a all natural cube.

I carved a small watermelon and made it hollow and carved a cat on the front.

It was a lot of fun and I liked having an art project that I could eat the scraps from lol.

One out of cardboard and one from any man made material.
